“They’re funny things, Accidents. You never have them till you’re having them.”
“We can’t all and some of us don’t. That’s all there is to it.”

“It never hurts to keep looking for sunshine.”
Donut Directions:
Yes, these are baked donuts- and super easy to make. It’s the decorating part that’s hard.
Preheat your oven to 350 degree’s and spray a donut baking pan with pam baking spray
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt
In a small bowl, whisk together egg, milk, butter, and vanilla extract
Combine the wet ingredients in with the dry ingredients and mix until well combined
Spoon batter into donut pan and bake for 10 minutes
Remove from oven and allow to cool for 6 minutes before removing and placing the doughnuts onto a wire rack
Repeat steps until all batter is used
Making the ears:
Here, you might need the help of someone a bit artistic.
Using the grey fondant, pinch off about 2 – 1/2 tsp of fondant and roll into a ball
Roll the ball in-between your hands to form a long
Using your fingers, lightly flatten the fondant log into a long flat piece of fondant. Set aside.
Pinch off about 2 – 1/8 tsp of pink fondant
Roll the pink fondant into balls and then roll them into logs
Flatten the logs into long flat pieces
Using your fingers, lightly get them wet under water.
Brush your finger along the middle of your grey disks to leave a trail of water. Water acts as a glue when working with fondant
Carefully lay the pink flat piece onto the grey flat piece of fondant
Repeat steps for 29 more ears. You will need a total of 30 ears
Allow to sit to harden while you make the glaze
Vanilla glaze Directions:
In a large bowl combine the powdered sugar, vanilla, salt and milk and mix until combined
If the glaze has powdered sugar clumps still, mix in another tbsp of milk
Mix in 1-2 drops of black coloring and mix until combined. You are wanting to get a light grey shade
Decorating Directions :
Make sure that your wire rack is on top of a larger cookie sheet so that when you pour the grey glaze onto the donuts, the glaze will not drip onto the counter- I always forget this part- my counter gets very sticky.
Allow the donuts to dry for 10 minutes
Once the 10 minutes are up, carefully lift one of the ears up
Lightly get your finger wet and brush it on the edge of the top of the ear
Carefully place the top of the ear on the side of the doughnut
Repeat steps with the other ear
Set aside while you mold your fondant bows
Making the Bow:
Using a small pointy paint brush, dip it into the powdered sugar
Brush the powdered sugar into the fondant mold
Pinch off a piece of red fondant and push it into the mold
Allow the fondant to sit there for a few minutes before pushing the bow out of the mold
Repeat steps for 14 more bows.
Finish Eeyore:
Lightly brush water onto the back of the bow and place the bow onto the bottom middle of the doughnut
Using the ivory colored fondant and repeat the steps that you did for the ears
Carefully shape the ivory into a bean shape for the base of the mouth
lightly wet the back of the ivory fondant piece and place onto the top middle of the doughnut
Using the black icing, pipe a line down the center of the of the doughnut
Pipe hair onto the top part of the doughnut
Pipe stitches down the center of the doughnut
Pipe a dot on both sides of the doughnut for the eyes
Pipe a line above the eyes for his eyebrows
Pipe a dot on the ivory fondant for the nose
Allow to dry for an hour before enjoying!
WOW! You did it!
