About Goliath Games
Goliath Games has been dedicated to creating toys and games that inspire young minds and adults alike to reach beyond their imagination. As one of the few remaining family-owned toy companies, Goliath truly understands the importance of quality family time and bringing people together.
Build or Boom
There’s only enough room for one builder in this town! Have a blast as you carefully build your structure while your opponent does the same. Then whoever finishes first can smash the “boomer” button to bring their opponent’s building crashing down to the table!
This game combines both the ability to be careful and hand/eye coordination as well as being faster than the other player. Plus there are a ton of colorful shapes to build with, and blueprint cards to copy as you build your way to the top. This has caused a lot of laughter in our house and the adults get in on the fun too. It’s designed for ages 4+.
Googly Eyes
Have you ever played that game where you draw a picture and your team tries to guess what you’ve drawn? Adults and kids alike seem to get hours of enjoyment, but now you can add the difficulty of wonky vision to the drawing challenge. Simply divide into teams, roll the dice and move the number of indicated spots, slip on the glasses that plays tricks with your vision, and start drawing! If your team can guess what you drew while wearing the vision-altering frames, then you get a point! Otherwise it’s time for the other team to give it a shot.
There are different colored lenses in three different strengths to make it more or less of a challenge for each turn. Plus there are over 150 different drawing ideas to keep it interesting.
It doesn’t matter if you can draw well or not, it’s about drawing well enough while not being able to see clearly and hope your teammates can figure it out. This is for 4-16 players and the suggested age is 7+.
Stuff Happens
Sometimes you will want to play games with the older children or even other adults that come for a visit, so break out the Stuff Happens game which rated PG-13. You are given several cards, each with a different potentially bad situation which you have to put in order of rank from bad to worse. Then a new card/situation is drawn from the deck, but the “misery index” number at the bottom is hidden from view. In order to win the card, you must correctly guess where it would rank in your particular list of cards. If you are correct, you win the card. If not, the game continues with the next player. The first player to 10 cards in their hand, ranked from low to high on the misery index scale, wins the game. This game is meant for 2-12 players ages 13+.
Zoom Ball
Head outside for fun and exercise with the Zoom Ball! Grab your handles and pull them in opposite directions to send the ball to your partner. They pull their handles apart and the ball flies back to you. You change try different speeds and angles to rock the ball back and forth between the two partners.
You can even play while you move and jump, all while trying to keep the ball zooming back and forth so it doesn’t stop.
This is a great way to take a break for some physical fun, whether in the back yard, basement, or even at the beach. Designed for ages 6+.
Rocket Fishing Rod
Did you go fishing with your grandfather or parents when you were a kid? I did and enjoy it to this day. My son wants to enjoy it but he can get frustrated trying to cast his line and keep it from getting tangled.
But he loves using the Rocket Fishing Rod because he just pumps it a few times, aims over the water, and hits the button to release the hook, line, and safety bobber. You can set the desired depth and start catching real fish without the hassle and struggle until they are ready or old enough to learn with a more advanced fishing rod.
These are great for grandparents to keep on hand since they can be shared or just loaded up and taken out to the water for the afternoon. Designed for ages 8+.
Sequence
If you have older kids or even adult friends visiting that love strategy games that make you think, then you definitely want to check out Sequence. It’s a game combining your color chips, playing cards, and trying to get 4 chips in a row for a Sequence while also trying to block the other players from doing the same thing! There are wild cards and wild spots to use to your advantage, but the other players can use them too. The game is designed for ages 7+ and 2-12 players.

My Thoughts:
These toys and games are part of the latest collection we’ve added to our family’s screen free family fun time for those evenings where we need to spend time together without our devices. We can also toss them in the car when we head to the park or on vacation because there are times we won’t all be in the pool, at the beach, or riding roller coasters. Be sure to keep the pieces inside sandwich storage bags for easy containment, and if you ever need to look up the instructions, they are available on the maker’s websites. Don’t miss out on these fun toys and games from Pressman Toys and Goliath Games no matter how large or small your family might be.
