My Thoughts
As a Mom myself, I have always loved getting those handmade cards or trinkets that my kids would give me for Mother’s Day when they were little. Then we all discovered that Mom could be a little more relaxed and calm if allowed a little time each day to herself. Sometimes this would be reading a book in peace, soaking in the tub, or just doing things for myself. Along with that idea came bath sets, with a variety of products, scents, and uses.
So the Unicorn Collection from HALLU lights me up, inside and out. While I’m not much of a girly girl like a few of my daughters are, I do love bright colors, refreshing scents, and a touch of shimmer and sparkle in my life. This particular set includes a bath bomb that starts with gorgeous red and blue stripes, which combine to a sweet purple shade to soak and relax in the tub. The foaming lotion is terrific after the bath as it is rich in Vitamin E and applies with a light layer of foam. The sugar scrub works wonders on the feet and elbows and the body mist is a beautiful touch to the end of a relaxing session of “me” time.
The Gnome Collection is a more neutral color and scent range that I personally enjoy after a long day of work or stress. I find relaxing with the “mud” bath bomb feels lovely as it soothes the skin and releases charcoal into the bath water. And the scrub and sugar body butter bar is great, even in a quick shower, since it has a mixture of moisturizing oils and butters, plus sea salt to help scrub away dead skin. I find the products in this collection really compliment each other, and even you might even catch the husband exploring his “relaxing” side with this Gnome set.
