An Uncluttered Home Because of Mimish Makes Mom Happy

If you asked me what I would like for Mother’s Day, my answer would not include expensive jewelry, or fancy things.  I want the simple things in life- peace, quiet, and a clean home.  With children, all of those concepts are few and far between, but not impossible.  Therefore, this Mother’s Day I hope my kids will get along for at least that day, and that my house will be less cluttered thanks to Mimish storage products.  When my house is cluttered and there are things everywhere I get very frazzled and stressed.  If I do not take a day to get it all under control I am not a happy mom!  Yet when all is orderly around me, and things are where they go, I am much more serene.

Storage Lounger

The Mimish Storage Lounger is perfect for a child, or teen’s bedroom.  You can use it to store things, or just use it as a seat.  I got the Cotton Candy Pink Sherpa Lounger and put it in my daughter’s room.  I told her to store whatever she needed in it, to get her room under control.  She is 11, and a clean room is not a priority for her yet.  She is starting to get a little better about keeping it up, but she still has a way to go.  Most things get tossed on her bed, stuffed animals, extra blankets, dolls, even extra pillows.

Now because of Mimish, her room is semi under control.  Her bed is now clear of all her blankets, and that makes the room more inviting.  In addition to hiding all the blankets, and stuffed toys, the Lounger is very comfortable to sit on.  She uses it to chill on when she reads and when she does her home school work in her room.

Storage Pillows

The Naturalist Storage Pillow from Mimish is so cool and functional.  It is happily sitting on my couch with the TV remotes nestled inside the zipper.  They fit in fine, and will not become lost or misplaced.  Most noteworthy is you don’t feel them when you lay against the pillow.  The pocket goes into the pillow at an angle, allowing storage, without causing lumps.  The controllers fit in fully, and the zipper zips, so you would not even know they were there.

Mom’s Thoughts

Since I hate clutter, Mimish is the perfect Mother’s Day present for me.  Anything that helps my kids keep the house, and their rooms clean, directly affects me.  Now they can tidy their rooms with their Storage Pouf, and Lounger, and apply that to the rest of the house.  Maybe it will help them to put things back in the proper places.  At least I will know where the remotes and Wii controllers are.  We used to have four controllers, but the kids lost one somehow.  We scoured the room, and looked in every possible place for the lost controller, but never found it.  Hopefully this will keep the other three present and accounted for.

In addition to having a function this Storage Pillow is very attractive.  I love Jellyfish, and was so excited to see the pillow choices.  There was also a dandelion one I really liked, but the Jellyfish won hands down.  It matches my living room which is brown and teal, with pillows with octopi and sea turtles.  I think Mimish designed this pillow just for me.  Now if they can help get my children to get along, it will be the best Mother’s Day ever!
