My Thoughts:
The first thing I need to mention is how durable and water resistant these headphones are. Our Border Collie puppy loves to bring things into the backyard just for fun. He brought the AfterShokz into the backyard and they were in a snow bank for a few hours before I found them. They still work perfectly and you’d never know they had been snowy and wet for a few hours!
I always had an aversion to putting earbuds in my ears, they never fit right or feel right. The AfterShokz headphones are a genius design! The technology is really mind-blowing! When I think back to my anatomy classes, it does make sense that the bone conduction technology would be a great solution to maintaining situational awareness. With my hubby having some hearing loss in one ear, he loves these Bone Conduction technology. He doesn’t have to have the volume to the max to hear the music or video he is watching.
The headband is another great feature. It is lightweight and very flexible. After you put the headphones on, you totally forget you are wearing them. It sits comfortably around the back of your neck, not on top of your head like traditional headphones. For those of us who don’t want to mess up our hair, these are the perfect solution!
Comfort is key with these headphones. No need to worry about changing ear buds to make sure they fit into your ear. They just need to rest on your cheekbones in FRONT of your ear. The sound is amazing- I was very impressed! My hubby has nothing but great things to say about them every time he uses them.
