The idea of Own a Moment is for people to be able to create a gift with a difference, a gift that can be an amazing gesture, something that is hard to find on a card or in a shop. The idea of exclusively owning a piece of time and making that dedication to someone is a way of saying to someone that they are special and I want to honor and never forget this moment.

My Thoughts:
Being a large family, we have lots of dates that we celebrate. I wasn’t aware you could actually register the date and time for the whole world to know and celebrate with you! What a unique way to honor someone or an event.
Ordering was easy and fun. I was able to register our dates and times quickly and then upload the image for each of our gifts.
The hardest part of ordering was selecting the images to use and the note where you can add your special message. Since I am not overly flowery when it comes to special words, I asked each of the couples we were honoring to help out with that part.
Chris and Beth wanted to register the date and time that their family started. Beth picked the image and Chris wrote the personalized note on it. Can you saw awe!!!

Jake and Beka had their dream wedding after six long years of dating through teenage years and college struggles. They planned and took care of every detail to create their special day.
Their special message was “From this day forward you shall not walk alone. My heart will be your shelter, and my arms will be your home”.
Rusty and Meg are still in the planning stages of a couple. They are celebrating their engagement and the day that Rusty completed military basic training. Looks like we have another wedding coming up in the next couple of years.
Their message was: “The moon and stars tried their best, but I couldn’t look away from you”.
