J.T. Copper Sweet Mint Cane Sugar Syrup
Not just minty, but mellowed with a touch of rich vanilla, this syrup is perfect in hot chocolate and coffee. Always a winter favorite, but not limited to one season, you’ll find many reasons to keep this bottle around. Next, another honey from my box was the Avocado Honey Blossom, a rich, golden honey harvested from bees that gather nectar from blooming avocado plants. The flavor is robust yet beautifully balanced, reminiscent of molasses or sorghum, with buttery toffee undertones and subtle notes of dried fig. Oakland Dust Chili Lime All Purpose Rub
This Oakland Dust Chili Lime spice blend is excellent on chicken, steak, and pork. Try grilling chili-lime-dusted boneless, skinless chicken thighs, dicing them and adding them to a hot tortilla for a tasty street taco.
Greenomic Lemon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Next, this beautiful Lemon EVOO infuses single-variety Greek olives with sun-ripened lemon essence, creating a vibrant oil that’s both fruity and zesty. Use it to finish seafood, brighten a salad, or dip with crusty bread. Housed in an elegant ceramic bottle, it’s as beautiful on your counter as it is delicious in your dishes. I used it on roasted asparagus, and it was terrific.
Crispino Hot Chili Peppers in Volcanic Sauce
In Calabria, Italy, artisans chop fresh hot peppers and steep them in oil with natural flavorings, resulting in a bold, fiery bite. Add a spoonful to pasta, grilled meats, or roasted veggies for an instant flavor explosion. All you need is a little bit of this delicious sauce. It is spicy!
Truffle-Infused Shiro Shoyu (White Soy Sauce)
This white soy sauce or sushi sauce is a lighter, more delicate version of traditional soy sauce, elevated with the rich, earthy aroma of truffle. Its flavor is savory yet refined, slightly sweet, deeply umami, and beautifully balanced. A little goes a long way, making it perfect for drizzling over sushi, vegetables, pasta, or risotto. It adds instant gourmet flair without overpowering or darkening your dish.
Shibanuma Artisanal Soy Sauce
Not only is it wonderful to receive both a white soy sauce and a more traditional soy sauce, but both are artisanal as well. Artisans produce this soy sauce using the traditional Japanese method of fermenting soy in wooden barrels. This process creates a rich flavor with a soft woody scent. It is delicious.
Umami Insider Organic Japanese Ketchup
I may have found my new favorite ketchup. This organic Japanese ketchup has a depth of flavor that no grocery-store ketchup can match. It blends ripe tomatoes with house-brewed rice vinegar, organic onions, garlic, and apple cider vinegar. The result is a tangy, umami-packed condiment that can be used on everything!
Yuzusco Japanese Yuzu Hot Sauce
This might be my favorite of all of the sauces that I received in this Foodie Box Love box. It has a unique, bright, zesty flavor. While it has some heat, it is not too spicy to be uncomfortable. It combines aromatic yuzu citrus peel, green chili peppers, and rice vinegar into a one-of-a-kind condiment. Add instant flavor to seafood, meats, or vegetables, or you can even spice up cocktails like a Bloody Mary. Hand-peeled yuzu skin gives this hot sauce a fragrant citrus kick.
Ibonoito Tenobe Hand-Pulled Ramen Noodles
Using a 600-year-old technique from Hyogo Prefecture, artisans blend local wheat with water from the Ibo River and braid the noodles to achieve their signature texture and durability. Smooth, firm, and perfect for ramen lovers seeking authenticity. Although I haven’t tried these yet, I can’t wait to taste them! They look delicious.
Gustus Vitae Shichimi Ramen Seasoning and Meat Rub
Inspired by Japan’s beloved spice blend, this mix enhances ramen, noodle dishes, and doubles as a flavorful meat rub. A pantry essential for Japanese-themed meals.
My Thoughts
