Kids are naturally curious. This is true for every child I’ve ever met. My granddaughter is no exception, and she is only 3 years old. Enlightened Generation believes that every child should get to experience the world, whether it is through books, stories, and experiences. They have designed a collection of boxes to allow families to experience cultures and communities around the world.
About Enlightened Generation
As the creators of Enlightened Generation, we came together with a shared belief: every detail of our business – no matter how small – matters. This applies not only to the physical aspects of our clothing but also to the way we speak about the brand. The words we choose carry meaning and intention, and each deserves thoughtful consideration. When we named the brand Enlightened Generation, we understood that “Enlightened” could be interpreted in many ways: as informed, spiritual, even religious. Its meaning may differ for each of us—and evolve over time.
We also recognized that while the digital age offers access to a wealth of information, it can just as easily draw us into endless scrolling, gaming, and screen time—fueling stress, anxiety, and disconnection from the world around us. For kids, this can mean missing out on moments to wonder, explore, and engage with the natural world. But with the right tools, we can help them rediscover curiosity and find joy in learning about the world in meaningful ways.
Enlightened Box Collections
Bringing the world your littles is easier than ever before with Enlightened Generation. Parents, Grandparents, or friends can send a child a gift that includes clothing, a book, and age-appropriate materials to teach children about a specific area of the world.
There are currently six collections that you can choose from including Nasca Lines of Peru, Moai of Rapa Nui, Grand Prismatic Spring, Leaf Sheep of the Sea, Mysteries of Language and Communication, and Clean Water.
My granddaughter received two boxes that focused on Peru and Rapa Nui. These are the neatest boxes. She received an outfit in each box and a book that will take her to those regions of the world. Of course, she’s kinda little, but she still enjoyed us reading to her, looking at the pictures, and of course, what little girl doesn’t like a new outfit?
The Clothing
Each piece of clothing offered by Enlightened Generations is timeless, comfortable, and made for everyday play. This is so nice because sometimes you don’t want your child to mess up a special piece; however, these pieces are durable and well-made. The sweaters are cushy and warm, the shorts and t-shirts are lightweight and breezy. I’ve always loved casual outfits that scream comfort.
The Experience
With each box, there is an activity that encourages discovery and creativity. The books are so nice because not only are the kids learning about a new place, they inspire questions, conversations, and hands-on learning and exploration.
My Thoughts on Enlightened Generation
I’ve always thought books can take a reader to another place. With Enlightened Generation, it’s extremely true. As someone who hasn’t seen much of the world, these gift boxes allow me to take my granddaughter to Peru and to show her there is more to this world than what she is growing up in. There are so many cultures and places our children may never experience. This is why I love this amazing gift she was given. These boxes will make the greatest gift you can give a child!
