- Wiggle Eyes – Dollar Store
- Colored Cardstock – White, Orange, Black
- Marker, Black – Dollar Store
- Glue Gun and Glue Sticks – Low Temp Works Best
- Acrylic Craft Paint – Black
- Paintbrush
- Scissors
- Pencil
- PATTERNS
Instructions:
- Gather all supplies. Basecoat the TP roll with black acrylic craft paint. Let dry, and apply a second coat, if necessary. Use washable markers, crayons, or even colored pencils to color the cardboard.
- Download, print, and cut out the penguin patterns. Trace the beak and feet onto orange colored paper, the wings onto black colored paper, and the body onto white colored paper with a pencil.
- Cut out the traced patterns with scissors, cutting inside the lines to create a clean finished project.
- Attach the body with a glue gun and glue sticks. Glue two wiggle eyes and the beak to create the penguin’s face. Glue the wings to the right and left sides of the penguin and gently bend at the top, so they stick out.
- To finish, attach the feet to the bottom edge of the tube with a glue gun and glue sticks.
