Need a Feeding System that is Perfect for Large Breed Dogs? Try Trot’s Elevated Complete Set

Did you know that feeding larger breed dogs with an elevated bowl can help them reduce bloating and gas? Additionally, in older dogs that may have joint problems or arthritis, having an elevated feeding station is beneficial. Thankfully the Trot’s Elevated Complete Set helps my larger pets not only eat in a more appropriate manner, but in a cleaner, more regimented way.

Trot's Elevated Complete Set

About Trot Pets:

As way of background, we are a group of dog lovers who were frustrated with the lack of high-quality dog bowls available on the market. We noticed that many dog bowls were made from cheap plastic or flimsy materials that would easily break or deteriorate over time. We were also concerned about the impact that these low-quality materials could have on the health of our furry friends.

As we searched for a solution, we realized that they weren’t the only ones who were looking for better dog bowls. We discovered that there was a growing community of pet owners who shared their passion for beautiful, functional, and durable dog bowls that were also good for their dog’s health.

As a Great Pyrenees, Winnie is one of the largest breed of dogs my family has ever had. We quickly learned that this gentle giant has feeding and drinking habits our others dogs never had.

While in the kitchen one day, I noticed that, after putting down a bowl of food and water for Winnie, she would lay down to eat and drink from the bowls I was using. I was puzzled as I thought maybe she was just a little tired after playing with her brother, Chewie, outside. Chewie is a large breed, but as an Australian Shepherd mix, he is much smaller than Winnie.

What I learned is that this was not a one-off situation. Winnie would lay down every time she would eat or drink. That is when I decided to do some research and invest in a feeding system that would be suited best for her.

Trot's Elevated Complete Set
