There are some fun toys for our kids out there. Some are from classic brands we all grew up with and some are from newer names that bring fun, imagination, and joy to our kids, regardless of their ages. MGA Entertainment has created top consumer-brand toys for all children of all ages. One of our favorites in the Story Dream Machine.
LOL Surprise
I’ve seen LOL Surprise toys in just about every store I’ve walked into lately. They are everywhere and have a distinct bright aqua and pink label. LOL Surprise has a fun line for this summer. They are the Water Balloon Surprise Dolls and they come in fun “BALL” packaging. Each ball comes with one doll and lots of accessories. For example, this cutie tot came with a bathing suit, sunglasses, balloons to blow up or fill with water, glitter water balloon hair, an H2O bottle, and more.
There are four ways to play with this little girl. You can use the water bottle as a squirt toy, fidget with the little tot’s glitter balloons, squirt water out of the glitter balloons, or throw and pop the regular latex water balloons. Story Dream Machine
Little Tikes have a true hit with their Story Dream Machine. This is the best little projector for littles. Stories come to life when a small “book” is inserted into the projector. The book pages are then projected onto a wall or ceiling. It reads the book to your baby while they follow along.
Made to be 2 to 6 feet from the wall (or ceiling), the Story Dream Machine is portable. Your littles will love to carry it around the house, listening to books being read to them. Three Little Golden Books are included with the Story Dream Machine to get your babies started. My granddaughter loves The Poky Little Puppy. There is also a little puppy character that is included that sits on the top of the projector. It’s fun to have that character so the littles know what book they are listening to.

A great thing about the Story Dream Machine is that there are so many other story packs to build your library. We have Trolls (complete with a Poppy character) and Sesame Street with Cookie Monster. My granddaughter loves Elmo and Cookie Monster and will walk around with her little projector listening to the stories.
Little Tikes knew what they were doing when they developed this toy. The Dream Machine has five different sounds that your littles can use as a white noise machine and night light. Complete with volume and story control buttons, the sounds and night light run for about 30 minutes.
Rainbow High Swim & Style Dolls
We can’t forget about our bigger kids. Rainbow High Dolls is a line of dolls for kids between 4-12. The Swim & Style dolls are so pretty and bright. Each comes with a bathing suit, sandals, and fun accessories like sunglasses, a fun tote bag, and shoes.
We have Sunny Madison and Ruby Anderson dolls. Sunny is just how you’d think she’d be, bright and blond with a great tan. Ruby is firey and sharply styled with red hair, big sunglasses, and fun high heels.
Each doll has long hair that can be styled in many ways. They also have long eyelashes and sparkling eyes. Your kids can play with just one poseable doll or get the whole set and have a party! The options are endless for a fun summer with these pretty dolls.
My Thoughts
I’ve gone through all the stages of childhood with my two children, and now I see it differently with my granddaughter. It’s funny how that happens. But one thing I’ve learned is that all children are different and if we let them, they grow up too fast. I say, buy the toy, share the french fries, and enjoy every minute. With these fun toys, your babies will have a fun childhood without growing up too fast.
