Every little girl loves horses. I don’t know what it is about these gentle giants, but so many want to play with dolls that have horses and pretend they are riding and taking care of them. Playmobil has a line of toys called Horses of Waterfall Ranch that allows imaginations to run wild.
Horses of Waterfall

Horse Stall with Amelia and Whisper
Each collection starts with one piece. If I was buying a present for a little girl who loves animals, I would go with this playlet. The Horse Stall with Amelia and Whisper comes with a barn, an Amelia action figure, Whisper the horse, and so many accessories.
Along with the beautiful grey and white stallion, Amelia has many animals to care for. She has a foal, an alpaca with baby, and a dog. There are accessories that allow your little one to care for and play with them, such as brushes, a haystack, and even a barn mouse. This set can be played with by itself or added to other sets from Waterfall Ranch.
Jumping Arena with Zoe and Blaze
Another fun set offered by Playmobil is the Jumping Arena with Zoe and Blaze. This was the first set I put together and was pleasantly surprised with all of the small details that Playmobil added to it.
Zoe and Blaze are accompanied by a jumping pole, saddle, blanket, awards, hair accessories and so much more. Littles can set up their own practice and show arenas, run their horse through the obstacle courses, and reward their horse with awards and stylish accessories.
Washing Station with Isabella and Lioness
What horse playlet would be complete without a washing station? Horses love to be pampered and the Washing Station with Isabella and Lioness is the perfect place to do so.
The Washing Station comes complete with Isabella and Lioness figures, fun hair styling accessories, and a real-working shower for the horses. Isabella can wash her horse, use all of the styling products, and then take her out for a ride using her saddle and bridal.
The Characters
There are five characters in the story of Waterfall Ranch, including Amelia, Isabella, Zoe, Ellie, and Ben. Each one has a story and their play sets are in line with the storyline.
Amelia has a connection with animals, so she takes care of all the animals in the barn. Isabella is a social media blogger, and she is working hard to make her horse, Lioness, famous. Zoe loves challenges and competition and is the youngest member of the Hose Academy of the Waterfall region. Ellie enjoys exploring the wilderness around the ranch, while Ben is a farrier intern who has creative ideas and likes to craft new inventions.
Each of these characters brings something to Waterfall Ranch, and by bringing these play sets to your littles, their imaginations will grow.
My Thoughts
Playmobil is one of my favorite brands of toys for littles. The Horses of Waterfall play sets contain many small pieces so it’s important that you watch your littles when they play with them. These sets are recommended for children ages 5-12 years old.
I love the details that are included in each set. The “story” lines up so well with each character. Play sets great gifts for any occasion including holidays, birthdays, or even as a reward for a job well done.
