Crafting your Turkey Charcuterie Board:
Leaf-Shaped Cheeses: Begin by slicing your assortment of cheeses with a leaf-shaped cutter. These will serve as the beautiful, colorful feathers of your pear turkey.
Feathered Circle Pattern: Lay out the cheese slices, pepperoni, and crackers in a circle pattern on your serving dish. The goal is to create a fan of “feathers” around the pear turkey body, making it look like a charming, edible turkey.
Pear Perfection: Take your ripe pear and cut it in half. Place one of the pear halves on the bottom center of your serving dish. This half serves as the turkey’s plump body, setting the stage for the feathered spectacle.
Eyes on the Prize: It’s time to give your turkey some personality. Stick two candy eyes onto the pear near the top. These cute edible eyes will add a touch of whimsy to your feathered friend.
Turkey Beak: Just below the candy eyes, place a single candy corn as the turkey’s beak. This vibrant orange addition not only adds a splash of color but also completes your turkey’s adorable face.
