About Bank-A-Ball
David Beker grew up as a major sports fan in Minneapolis. He loves his hometown and local teams like the Minnesota Timberwolves, Twins, and Vikings. His favorite sport is basketball and he would try to play like the players he idolized as a boy. He mastered trick shots, sometimes indoors because of the cold weather.
Now, Beker is a dad of 6 and tries to teach his children about the sports he’s so fond of. With the help of some product development friends and colleagues, Bank-A-Ball was created. He can now share trick shots and the joy of basketball with his kids and others everywhere.
What’s Special About Bank-A-Ball?
We’ve all seen the over-the-door indoor basketball backboard with hoops. Bank-A-Ball is different in a few ways. For starters, the hoop can be adjusted. It can turn to 7 different angles so that you can make that perfect shot from wherever you may be shooting from.
Secondly, the backboard is also adjustable! Each side has several different settings so it can catch the ball and help get it in the hoop.
Where Can Bank-A-Ball Be Installed?
When my son was a baby, and I was putting his bedroom together, I made a backboard and added a wire garbage can as a hoop and we used it for all kinds of things. But I was only able to hang it on the wall. Bank-A-Ball can be hung over a door, installed on a wall, or taken to work to hang over a cubicle. The sky is really the limit with this because of the way it is designed. You can nail it into the wall or attach the included door hook and slip it over a closet door.
I took one to my day job and the guys I work with love it. It helps them take a break, reduces stress, and gives them a little energy boost throughout the day. We even have a former college basketball player and she really likes to laugh at the guys when they are trash-talking each other.
Because my children have grown up and moved out, I was excited to share Bank-A-Ball with a few friends and their families. They both have shared that their boys love the hoop and backboard. One of them is in high school and the other is in middle school.
The high school boy likes to share the hoop with his whole family. They all get in on a fun inside game of basketball. Friendly competitions are a daily event now at their house.
The younger boy is just so excited to have Bank-A-Ball. He wants to make jump shots, far far-away shots, and loves that it’s inside so he can play even when it gets dark outside or the weather is not favorable.
My Thoughts
I really love the Bank-A-Ball. It would make an amazing gift for any child or adult who enjoys sports or just needs a little stress reliever. Having the hoop in our office has been really fun.
