It’s back to school time and that means that there are driver’s education classes starting too. I have a couple of student drivers myself and as a parent it’s bittersweet. But what is not sweet is when the bright sun causes driving mishaps. Enter The Addvisor, which is the answer to just about every driver on the road.

An avid driver, Danny Johananoff was frustrated with the visor system in most cars which requires repeated repositioning from the front to the side, back and forth, each time you turn into the sun. Danny came up with the idea and founded The Addvisor system which he is excited to be sharing with many drivers.

How Does the Addvisor Work?
This simple device attaches to the windshield of any car. There is a strong adhesive strip and a mounting bracket which The Addvisor slides onto. Once on, the device is locked on with simple cam locks.
It’s easily removable and taken with you to another vehicle if you’d like. This is one of the things I like best about it. Yes, it has a bracket that stays in the vehicle, but you can get additional brackets for different cars.
Once you have The Addvisor attached to your windshield, it is ready to use. It can be used like a traditional car visor. Pull it down and it blocks the sun. Why have it? Well, you can take your car visor (the one factory installed in your vehicle) and push it to the side where the door is. This blocks bright light from your left side. Use The Addvisor for the windshield. Need even more sun-blocking power? Pull down the tinted polarized visor and it blocks even more of the bright light that hinders us while we drive.+

My Thoughts on The Addvisor
As a short person, I absolutely LOVE the added protection The Addvisor offers. As a mother to student drivers, it’s amazing because my girls won’t be flipping the visor to block the sun, taking their attention off the road. I feel like this is a no-brainer for anyone who drives. Not to mention, it will make amazing gifts for Christmas, birthdays, or even Valentine’s Day!
