- 11.5 oz bag of milk chocolate chips
- 1 ½ cups whole almonds
- 14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk
You will need the following items to make this recipe:
- Large bowl
- wooden spoon
- cookie scoop
- parchment paper
- baking sheet
- spoon
- cooling rack
- cookie spatula
Copycat Almond Joy Cookie Recipe Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Add the ingredients to a large bowl, and stir until completely combined.
Use a cookie scoop to gather dough, making sure the scoop is full and solid.
Drop dough 2 inches apart onto the baking sheet, and use the back of a greased silverware spoon to gently press down (so the condensed milk won’t run out so bad).
Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the coconut gets slightly golden.
Remove from the oven, and set the entire baking sheet on a cooling rack to cool completely. Once cooled, use the cookie spatula to remove it from the baking sheet.
How do I store these cookies?
I recommend storing them in an airtight container for the best freshness.
Can I use chopped Almonds?
Feel free to use sliced or chopped almonds if you wish. I prefer whole almonds for an authentic Almond Joy.
