Chocolate Strawberry French Toast Ingredients:
- 5-6 cups Chocolate Brioche Bread
- 6 large Eggs, room temp
- 1 cup Vanilla creamer
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 2/3 cup Brown sugar
- 1 cup Strawberries, diced and stem removed
- Whipped cream
- maple syrup
Supplies you’ll need:
- 6-7 6 oz Square Ramekins
- Baking sheet
- Large mixing bowl
Chocolate Strawberry French Toast Instructions:
Cut up Brioche bread into cubes.
Place the cubes on a parchment-covered baking sheet and set to the side for 2 hours to allow the bread to dry out.
Slice strawberries and set to the side. Add them to your chocolate bread chunks in a large bowl.
In a large bowl, combine eggs, milk, vanilla creamer, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Whisk mixture to combine.
Add the egg mixture to the bread and strawberries.
Mix to combine.
Pour mixture into a 13×9 pan.
Wrap the pan with saran wrap and refrigerate for four hours or overnight.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Coat your large ramekins with non-stick baking spray, and set them to the side.
Fill each ramekin with the French toast mixture and lightly press down to stuff the mixture in. Add more to the mixture to the top.
Bake for 35-40 minutes.
Check at the 35-minute mark, and if it is not done bake for longer.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes.
Remove the French toast from the ramekins and set it on a baking tray.
Sprinkle each French toast with chocolate chips and add whipped cream. (You can use powdered sugar instead of whipped cream.)
Serve with maple syrup and enjoy!
