Ingredients needed for Cinnamon Twist Easter Bunny Pastries:
- 1 package frozen puff pastry
- 2 TBS melted butter
- 2 TBS sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Whip cream
Cinnamon Twist Easter Bunny Pastries Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Let the puff pastry thaw and unfold onto a cutting board.
Spread melted butter on one piece of the puff pastry, leaving a half inch on top and bottom.
Mix the cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl and sprinkle on the melted butter.
Lay the second piece of puff pastry on top of the cinnamon-sugared puff pastry.
Crimp the top and bottom of the pastries together with a fork
Using a pizza cutter, cut 15 strips of puff pastry.
First, place a strip of pastry in a U shape to assemble the bunnies.
Fold one side over the other and repeat one to two more times.
Press each twist firmly down on the prepared baking sheet so that each strip is twisted and resembles a bunny shape.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Once completely cooled, spray a small amount of whip in the U shape at the bottom of the twist to resemble a bunny tail.
