Craft Stick Love Sign Instructions:
STEP ONE
Gather all supplies. To create the craft stick sign, line up 18 jumbo craft sticks on your work surface. Attach three jumbo craft sticks across the top and bottom width of the sign with a glue gun and glue sticks.
TIP: You can use liquid craft glue for this project, but you will have to wait for it to dry.
STEP TWO
Basecoat the sign with white acrylic craft paint. Let dry, and apply a second coat, if necessary.
Distress the sign by wiping on watered-down dark brown acrylic craft paint across the front of the sign in random strokes.
STEP THREE
Cut two jumbo craft sticks with scissors and glue them together to create the letter “L”.
Attach foam roses to the letter “L” with a glue gun and glue sticks.
STEP FOUR
Use a mini heart grapevine wreath to create the letter “O”. Tie natural jute twine in a bow and secure it to the wreath with a glue gun and glue sticks.
STEP FIVE
Cut two jumbo craft sticks with scissors and glue them together to create the letter “V”. Attach pink gingham ribbon to the letter “V” with a glue gun and glue sticks. Secure the cut edges of the ribbon to the back of the craft sticks with additional glue.
STEP SIX
Lay five of the tumbling tower wooden game pieces on your work surface in the shape of the letter “E”. Using the photo as your guide, attach the pieces together with a glue gun and glue sticks.
STEP SEVEN
Starting with the letters “L” and “E,” glue them to the craft stick sign on the left and right sides. Attach the letter “V” next to the “E” with a glue gun and glue sticks. Finally, glue the mini heart wreath letter “O” to complete the word LOVE.
STEP EIGHT
Measure and cut an 18” length of natural jute twine with scissors. Flip the sign over and attach the ends of the twine to top right and left-hand sides with a glue gun and glue sticks.
Let it dry and enjoy!
This Craft Stick Love Sign makes a great gift for those special people in your life. My son would have loved to make one for his Grammie!
