My family loves to decorate for the holidays! And not just inside but outdoors as well. Whether we’re stringing lights on the tree, hanging wreaths, or displaying our DIY holiday projects, there is no shortage to the Christmas spirit around here. We try not to look like the Griswolds, though we do use plenty of lights in all sorts of colors and designs. I wanted to share a few of the lights that we enjoy using, as well as offer some ideas to jumpstart your decorations. Let’s go over how to light up your holidays with Quntis.
About Quntis
Quntis is much more than a brand name. It’s our philosophy as a company and a team: Quality-oriented, unique and trustworthy, innovative yet simple. This is the very core of our product vision: providing premium quality products at fair prices backed by good service that each customer deserves.
500 Warm White LED Lights
Ready for indoor or outdoor use! With 328 feet of lights, you can make quick work of decorating with a single strand of warm white lights. Because they are LED bulbs, they are energy efficient and cool to the touch unlike other traditional string lights. Plus there are 8 different “flash” modes to choose from.
500 Multi-Colored LED Lights
500 LED lights in a variety of color on a single strand. Weatherproof so it’s safe to use outdoors but perfectly suited for indoor decorating too! Use them to light up your tree, a wreath, or the mantle over the fireplace. Choose one of eight action settings like slow fade or twinkle.
Cluster Twinkle Lights
These cluster twinkle lights are perfect to add a little glam to your holiday décor. The line is 13 feet long, and the little lights are in shades of white and yellow.
Star Curtain Lights
If you could hang stars on a string, it would look like this. Two different star designs dangle from a light cord, including small seed lights leading to each star. Perfect for any window or around a door. And with the linkable cord ends, you can add up to 10 lengths together!
My Thoughts
Do you have a favorite holiday? Christmas is mine hands down. It’s more than just the reason for the season, but it also reminds me of family and all the memories we’ve made. I can remember making ornaments with the kids when they were little, and my tree and mantle are covered with these projects! I love to see their name and the year on the back or bottom of each piece. But it’s not just handmade ornaments or crafts that I decorate with. Plenty of lights, in all colors and designs, can be found both inside and outside my home during the holidays! The nights are long, and at least where I live, they are cold. I love how the lights just make it seem more magical. Here are just a few ideas to light up your holidays with Quntis.
Traditional Uses
Okay so the first obvious, and traditional way to use Christmas string lights for the holidays is on your tree. Real or fake, big or small, most trees will end up with a strand (or four) of lights. If you enjoy the warm glow of white lights, consider using something like the warm white LEDs. One strand is probably enough to handle most indoor Christmas trees. And the nice thing about this particular set is that you can set the flash pattern, whether it comes and goes like waves, or blinks, or starts from one end and fades through the rest of the strand.
Another of the more traditional ways we use our lights are by wrapping them on the large wreath we hang on the front door. It’s important that these lights are meant for outdoor use, and won’t get too hot. That’s why a set like these multi-colored LED lights are perfect. They are waterproof, and come on a dark green wire so it blends well with most wreaths! For the best results, start by plugging them in, and then wrap the wreath so you know you have enough “string” left to reach the plug. Of course you can also use these same lights to decorate your porch railing, front yard trees, and even your fence!
Non-Traditional Uses
Alright, so how about some other suggestions that are a little less traditional like trees and wreaths?
How about taking a few clear jars and adding these twinkle lights inside? Whether you use just one large jar, or drape the light string through several, it’s a great way to add light and a glow anywhere! Plug in extra strands if you want more lights or need more cord length to fill all your jars or glass bowls. Better yet? Purchase multiple strands and decorate the hallway to the kids’ bedrooms! It can be the nightlight for the holiday season.
Want to decorate your walls for a party or family gathering? How about hanging these star curtain lights that have two different shapes of pre-lit stars, along with smaller LED lights on each icicle? These are amazing for picture backdrops or just adding a focal point to room. You can also hang these lights around a door or window frame to brighten up the long and cold nights of winter. Maybe consider buying several strands and hang them on your deck railing to add a fun lighting option.
