My Thoughts

Books are an excellent gift because they’re inexpensive and can be personalized.

Going back to school is always an exciting time, even if you’re not a student anymore. It’s the start of something new and it means that summer is over. But all those changes can be overwhelming for children who are starting their first year of high school or college. That’s why getting them a book as a gift can really make this transition easier for everyone involved. Mindful Thoughts for Students and Design & Destroy are both great titles to lower stress levels and have fun too.

Books are inexpensive and easy to personalize with your own message on the inside cover (or outside) so they’ll feel like your very own present! And they offer hours of reading pleasure as well as being educational at the same time! There are so many books out there designed specifically for kids going to college this coming year that you can find a book for almost any topic, from fun “how to” books about making new friends or how to get good grades, to fiction books with characters facing their own challenges in school and life.

A book is a great way to help them learn or improve their skills.

Even if they’re not a big reader, they may still enjoy having a fun book with some great ideas. And college students can use books as a way to learn things they don’t have time for in their busy schedules. Plus, you can find books on any topic imaginable! Simply find a few that suits their interests.

If you need a few suggestions, almost every student should keep a copy of quick reference books on hand. So consider titles like Everyday Grammar Made Easy or, as an alternative, Everyday Mathematics Made Easy! Not only are these titles great for a quick refresher session or during homework help, they each use real life, everyday scenarios to teach their lessons.

Adding a bookmark with your own message makes it personal and memorable.

You can also personalize their book with a unique bookmark, like one with pictures of their friends or family. The best part about a bookmark is that it can easily be personalized with a message to the student. And it helps keep track of where they are in the book too!

For example, you could write a little reminder of how proud you are of them for going back to school, or maybe something encouraging if this is their first year. If they’re going into college as a shy kid, then writing an inspiring quote on the bookmark would help boost their confidence and remind them that things will get better as they learn more about how to adapt to their new environment.

Don’t forget about calendars as a gift idea!

Calendars make great gifts because it’s a practical gift that many people will use throughout the year. They come in all shapes and sizes, and there are many themes and designs to choose from, like supercars, fire trucks, motorcycles, and muscle cars! The best part about calendars?

You can go ahead and fill in important dates, like birthdays and anniversaries for them! It will help them stay on track of these days of celebration even if they aren’t at home.

Whether you’re giving a book to someone who is going back to school or college for the first time, or if you want to give them something that will help make their transition easier, there’s no shortage of books out there designed specifically for kids in this situation! But adding your own personal message makes it more meaningful since they’ll know that it came from you. You can also include a bookmark with pictures of friends or family members – after all, everyone needs reminders of what matters most when everything else feels so overwhelming.
