Apple Donut Ingredients:
- 2 cups flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 4 tbsp butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 cup of milk
- 1 apple, washed and grated
Glaze Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
Apple Donut Directions:
In a large mixing bowl combine the flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.
Mix until all is well combined.
In a separate bowl combine the melted butter, eggs, and milk and mix.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry and mix until all is well combined.
Fold in the grated apple.
Fill a piping bag or Zip-lock bag with batter and pipe into a greased donut pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 12-14 minutes until the center is cooked.
Remove from the oven and let cool just until you can handle them and remove from pans.
Glaze Directions:
In a medium bowl combine the powdered sugar, cinnamon, brown sugar, and milk and whisk until glaze forms.
Dip warm donuts into glaze and place onto a parchment lined baking sheet or cooling rack.
Let cool and glaze harden before stacking or placing in a container.
