Founded by a beautiful couple, Tiffani Buteau (a veteran resin artist) and her husband Stephen, the headquarter of T-Rex Inks is in Olalla, Washington, along the Puget Sound. Partnering together, they created a product that met the needs of many artists who had been discouraged by expensive purchasing options and tiny ink quantities.

T-Rex alcohol inks are versatile in doing art projects on any material, including glossy paper, leather, stone, glass, ceramic, vinyl plastic foil, polymer clay, etc.

100% water and acid-free, these Japanese inks (dye-based) produce bright colors. High pigmentation gives the colors high vibrancy. It only takes a drop or two to create an incredible impact. About the Colors
These colors are all vibrant yet also subtle and earthy. Color selection for the inks was undertaken after mixing each concentration blindly on a paper before honing them down to these particular colors. While some of the colors were left as simple green or blue, others are more intricate.

My Thoughts:
For someone that had never used alcohol inks before, I found these to be easy to use. There are a few tools that you will need such as a blower, blender, and of course your pallet for your design. I like that you can use these alcohol inks on just about any surface. The inks are of Premium quality, wonderfully versatile, gorgeously vibrant, and they come in large bottles which is awesome for beginners like me who probably use too much ink in their projects.
A great craft to start with would be your own greeting cards. Using a piece of card stock (I put a protective cover over the bottom half), you can start dripping and blowing the ink around. Change colors often, and add a drop of white to see a real change in designs. Using the alcohol to help thin the layers results in some cool designs.
