Disney CopyCat Corn Dogs Recipe  

One of my favorite snacks on a stick is a Corn Dog.  The hot dog covered in the sweet corn bread coating is delicious and fun to eat.  Everyone loves food on a stick!  These Disney CopyCat Corn Dogs are easy to make and the whole family will love them!

Corn Dog Ingredients:

 

• 1 cup corn meal  
• 1 cup flour  
• 1 cup milk 
• 1 egg 
• 1 tbsp sugar 
• 3 tsp baking powder 
• 1/2 tsp salt 
• pepper to taste 
• 1 package of beef frankfurters / I cut them in half 
• 1 quart vegetable oil for frying 
• wooden skewers  

Corn Dog Instructions; 

Preheat the oil over medium heat. 

Insert wooden skewers into frankfurters. Make sure they are dry. 

In a medium bowl, mix cornmeal, flour, salt, pepper, sugar and baking powder. 

 Stir in egg and milk. 

Roll frankfurters in batter until well coated. 

Fry 3 or 4 corn dogs (depends on the size of your pan) at a time until lightly browned,  about 3-4 minutes.  

Let cool on paper towels and enjoy. 

Serve with honey mustard.
