Leaf’D Box Makes Gardening a Snap #SpringIntoSummerFun

April 20, 2021 by Misty Stephens

Disclosure Statement for Mom Does Reviews

I do not have a green thumb, nor have I had a vegetable garden in the past.  Trying to figure out when to plant and what to grow is overwhelming to me.  If you are like me, and just don’t know where to begin, Leaf’D Box is the first step.  They do the thinking and planning, and even the growing for you.

About Leaf’D Box

Leaf’D Box is a subscription service that takes the guesswork out of gardening. They allow gardening to be fun like it should be by sending four boxes of plants a year.  each box contains plant varieties that thrive during that season in your area.  They take their years of experience and send plants that grow the best, quickest, healthiest, and that will yield the most harvest.

How Leaf’D Box Works

First you place your order, then they do the rest!  They hand plant each seed into an organic Leeremos mix that is perfect for the garden and for hydroponic systems.  Next they grow them until they are the perfect size and age to transplant.  Then in a couple days they are at your door ready to plant.  No need to go to the store, and no need to try and figure out what grows easy in your area.  Once your plants arrive, water them in the tray and plant them.  It is really that simple!

Mom’s Thoughts

It was so exciting to get my veggies at the door.  I am beyond happy to not have to plan and decide what to grow.  Leaf’D Box gave me a varied assortment to try my hand at.  Every single plant is still alive almost two weeks later.  I feel very accomplished and just can’t wait until I start getting veggies.  I also have an herb garden from them as well, and I can already take small parts off of some plants like parsley.  It was easy to plant my veggies and herbs because each plant said how far apart it had to be from others.  Plus there was a scan code to bring me to helpful tutorials.  There is info at my fingertips on each plant variety.

It tells you which plants can be harvested more than once, and which ones are a one time deal.  I know I will get many cherry tomatoes, but the lettuce is not going to grow back if I pull the head.  I also know these plants are the ones that grow well in this particular time period.  Then when we move to the next season, I will know when to plant my new plants.  I can base that on when they arrive at the house.  Everyone is going to think I have a green thumb now, when really I have Leaf’D Box!
