DIY Dollar Tree Teacher Appreciation Wreath
Supplies:
18 inch wire wreath form (Dollar Tree)
3 packages of crayons from Dollar Tree (these are good sized boxes including
Hot Glue Gun
Glue Sticks
3 wooden apple shapes (Hobby Lobby 99 cents each)
2 wooden pencil shapes (Hobby Lobby 89 cents each)
How to make this cute DIY Dollar Tree Teacher Appreciation Wreath craft:
Flip the wire wreath over as you will be using the backside to make this wreath. This way the wire wreath will have a flat side and better for the crayons to stick to.
Start by adding a small line of hot glue on the first wire (the small inside one) and the outer wire, don’t add too much glue as the glue dries extremely fast once it is on the wire so do small sections at a time.
I randomly added the crayons but you could do a pattern.
Continue this all the way around the wreath until the entire wreath it covered. Make sure to leave a little space when putting the crayons down. So the crayons on the smaller ring will all be touching but on the outer ring they don’t but if you don’t add the space it won’t make the circle shape.
Once the entire wreath is covered, add some hot glue to the back of the wooden apples and place evenly on the bottom of the wreath, and repeat the same steps with the wooden crayons.
Allow to dry and enjoy!
