Your pups will love these freeze-dried Salmon Dog Treats! These bite-sized treats are made with one single, nutritious ingredient: premium freeze-dried wild-caught salmon. I can feel good knowing I’m supporting my pet’s healthy muscles, soft coat, and body weight.
Ingredients Needed for the Dog Treats:
- 9 heaping Tablespoons of Quick oats (Split)
- 4 oz of sweet potato and turkey baby food (No garlic or onion)
- 4 baby carrots
Equipment Needed
- Measuring spoon
- Food Processor or blender
- Meat thermometer or something to create a hole for pill pockets
- Mixing spoon
- Airtight container for storage
Dog Treat Instructions:
Put 4 baby carrots into the food processor and chop them up.
Add 5 tablespoons of oats into the processor with the carrots and grind until small pieces.
Add the baby food and 4 tablespoons of the oats and mix in by hand. Add water if needed to get to a consistency to stick together.
Form balls based on the size of your pet.
Refrigerate treats in an airtight container.
Tips
To make Pill pockets, take a meat thermometer and form a hole in the treat.
Before rolling, push the contents together to get it to stick, then roll the balls.
You can use different flavored baby foods for a variety of treats.
