TRAX from PRX is a collection of free podcasts that offers 9–13-year-olds authentic, imaginative and original stories. The shows are representative of lived experiences, both real and aspirational, and touch upon the issues important to tweens at this moment in their lives. These stories are meant to help them better understand what is happening in their world, right now.
With TRAX, PRX is leading an emerging field of on-demand content that is meaningful and relevant for today’s savvy tweens. How to Listen to Podcasts:
The best thing about a podcast is that you can listen to it at any time and place that is convenient. Here are a few ways to listen to TRAX podcasts.
On your desktop or laptop computer. Simply visit any TRAX podcast page and click on the play button to begin listening.
On your phone or tablet. Podcasts can be downloaded or streamed from your phone or tablet through any number of listening apps. On an Apple device, tap on the purple Apple Podcasts icon. On an Android device, tap on the white Google Podcasts icon.
Others ways to listen to podcasts are on Spotify, Stitcher, RadioPublic, NPR One, and other apps. Once you set up an account, open your listening app and search for TRAX or a TRAX show by name, and begin listening immediately.
If you have smart speakers, you can ask your smart speaker to play a specific TRAX podcast by name.
