Mom’s Thoughts
This game was a big hit. Over Thanksgiving my whole family was outside playing. The cheers were probably heard all the way at my neighbors’ house. The competition was real, and they even got a little intense. It was all in good fun though. My dad was really good at the game, and my son and nephew took to it easily. It was a great holiday, and the TV wasn’t turned on one time. I love to be part of interactive games and activities that have everyone being together.
My daughter was walking around with the medal on, talking smack to her cousins. It was really funny to watch them challenge one another to play more and try to win the medal themselves. It exchanged hands a few times. I am no good at hand-eye coordination, so I have to admit that I never won. After the holiday we took it to church and set it up for our youth. They really liked playing it and spent all their free time taking turns. Once the big kids went to class the toddlers were playing their own version with just the rackets and balls. They would just hit the ball onto the ground and run after it. Even that was great since they were having fun, and staying occupied.
