My Thoughts
Who doesn’t love dressing their kids up in sweet outfits? Whether for a birthday party, a celebration, or just because it’s Tuesday! But something about the holiday time makes it even sweeter with the festive dresses and suits for our smallest crew members. And with the vintage look and feel making a come back, for kids and adults alike, I’ve been shopping for all the kids ahead of time! That’s where I found these adorable holiday outfits with Feltman Brothers.
First, whether you shop for a little girl or boy, you will absolutely love their clothing lines. They are all so sweet, classic, and look like they could be family heirlooms. In fact, many of their styles can even be matched together if you wanted to do family photos! And secondly, all the details looked beautifully made and many are hand stitched, showing off wonderful craftsmanship from over the last 100 years. And they even sell dolls with matching outfits to go with your son or daughter’s clothes in many cases!
Our sweet baby girl is about to turn one. And since her birthday falls near the holiday season, I went ahead and picked out a few dresses for her to take some of her birthday pictures in. The first piece is the smocked mock vest dress. It is this beautiful dress with smocking at the top which reminds me of what I wore when I was younger. Then there are some beautiful embroidery work, of both flowers and in the pattern of the mock vest. I love that the vest is attached, so we’re not always struggling with it coming on and off as she crawls around. And the skirt is gorgeous, with a scalloped hem and an adorable collar. It’s also available in pink or white, so really, get one of each and use it year round!
Not only did I get that dress, but since it is the holiday season, I also got one of the short sleeve holiday pearl flower Bishop dress! It’s so sweet with the embroidered pattern in the traditional holiday color scheme. The bottom hemline has this delicate scallop edge to it while the skirt is full enough for active kids like she is. Pair it with a cute pair of shoes and she’s the picture of a holiday sweetheart. We also added the matching Holiday Floral Bullion Pearl Hairband, which is very simple in design. It has a white band, but accented with flower bullions with pearls in the center.
