Fruit Salad Rolls Recipe
Ingredients:
Fruit (I’m including some good ones below, but the recipe is very forgiving)
Apples
Pears
Watermelon
Mango
Melons
Pineapple
Strawberries
Berries
Kiwi
Rice paper wraps
Hot water
Yogurt for dip (if desired)
How to make these yummy Fruit Salad Rolls:
1. Cut fruit in matchsticks. For the strawberries or any fruit that you want to showcase in your wrap slice those lengthwise.
2. Boil water and pour into a bowl to let cool down slightly
3. Place rice paper into the hot water vertically and rotate to coat in water. Do this very quickly as the rice paper doesn’t need to be saturated. Be careful as the water is hot. You should not submerge the paper, just rotate it while holding a corner.
4. Gently place the rice paper onto a plate
5. Start placing the fruit that you want to see first. Strawberries and Kiwi look really pretty.
6. Stack fruit on top of the “base” layer of fruit.
7. Fold the rice paper over the fruit and tuck it under slightly. Take each side of the rice paper and fold over and then roll.
8. Finished wraps can the enjoyed alone or with the yogurt of your choice.
