We could really do with some relaxation right now – and for pretty different reasons than we’re used to. Usually, the sources of our stress lie in the mayhem and chaos of our day to day routines. Getting the kids up for school. Getting ready for work. Doing the school run. Commuting. Getting tasks done, meetings, deadlines. The commute and school run once again. Getting the kids to their after school clubs and activities. Chores. Cooking. Just keeping the days turning on day to day life is a lot!

Now, however, many of us are stressed for other reasons. We’re in the midst of a worldwide pandemic. People are losing their lives. People are losing their jobs. The schools are closed. We can’t see our loved ones who we don’t live with. The good news is that there are a number of things that you can do to relax and let your hair down. Here are a few that you might like to try out!

Keeping a Routine

Often, stress can rise from a sheer lack of routine. Having a routine helps to maintain a sense of stability and consistency in your day to day life. It helps to ensure you’re getting sufficient sleep. It helps to make sure you’re eating regular meals. The list goes on. So, set yourself a rough wake up time, rough meal times and a rough bedtime. This can really help!

There are so many different relaxing products that you might like to try out.
