My Thoughts
When you’re doing your makeup, do you spend a lot of time on your lashes? I asked several of my girlfriends how much time and attention they paid to their eyelashes specifically, and the answer? Very little. It was normally the same routine for all of us. Run a quick comb to get the lashes separated and apply some mascara. Maybe a whole sixty seconds start to finish? Granted, I know that we all have friends who go all out and comb, apply two coats of mascara, curl, and so on. For me, I’d like to find a middle ground, so let’s learn how to love your lashes with Lithe Lashes.
It can be frustrating if you are unhappy with your eyelashes. Maybe they are too thin or sparse, maybe they are too light, or maybe they just stick out every which way! Whatever kind of lashes you have, they are yours and you should love them. With a little bit of help, I bet you can feel differently and love to show them off instead.
People apply lashes for a number of reasons. To add volume or length, make a dramatic makeup statement, draw attention to the eyes, or even because they dislike, or have an allergy to, mascara. And if you’ve ever tried to shop for lashes before, you know there are so many different kinds, colors, shapes, and sizes. It’s a bit overwhelming. Lithe Lashes wants to keep it simple. They use vegan lashes, so they are a great animal alternative. Plus they offer many kinds, from curved to round, basic to full length. It’s like having something for everyone.
Lashes are Reusable and Easy to Apply
I like that no matter which set of lashes you choose, they are reusable and easy to apply. Starting with your clean and natural lashes, use the lash curler to lift the lashes from the root and naturally give them the perfect curl. Then go back to the inner and outer lashes and use the mini lash curler to repeat the process, but on those finer and usually more difficult lashes. Remove the lashes from the packaging and place them against your natural lash line. You need to trim them to fit your own lash line; don’t worry, you only have to do this before your first application.
Once you’re satisfied with the length, apply a thin coat of lash bond to the lash band and allow it to grow tacky for a few seconds. Then, using the lash applicator, carefully line the lashes to your natural lash line and gently press into place. I will gently press with my finger in several places, just to ensure a good adhesion. And that’s it! Now if you want an extra dramatic look, you can curl the lashes again and apply mascara!
Learn to Love Your Lashes
I found two sets of Lithe Lashes that I will wear more often than any of the others. The first one is the Wispy & Willowy type. This set has lashes of varying lengths, giving it a free and fun look while still looking natural. They are more round in shape, which means even all the way throughout and not angled like a winged look. These are pretty and so easy to toss on and go, even without adding any mascara on top. And they aren’t too full so they are perfect for an every day look. The other set is their Criss-Crossed & Winged set. These are super long and start shorter near the corner of the lash line and grow longer as they move to the outer corner. I wear these for a dramatic look and extra volume!
