Upcycled Picture Frame
Upcycled canvas to fit frame
Scrabble tiles
Acrylic paint
Paintbrush
Glue Gun (You can find it on Amazon)
A pencil
A ruler
Embellishments if desired
How to make this cute Upcycled Scrabble Tile Craft:
Before you start working on your craft, decide on the words you want to use in your craft. We used uplifting words that would work for a Mother’s Day theme. Sketch out the placement to be sure it will fit within the measurements of the frame. Transfer the sketch onto parchment paper or cling wrap.
Step 1: Paint your canvas with the acrylic paint. Allow to dry completely. Apply one more coat and allow to dry at least an hour.
Step 2: Lay your parchment paper or cling wrap on your dry canvas. This will help you line up your scrabble tiles. If you need to, lightly draw lines with your pencil. Glue on your tiles.
Step 3: If you want, grab a few leftover embellishments from your craft bin to decorate your canvas. Using your glue gun, attach the canvas to the frame.
