My Thoughts
I couldn’t survive without my planner. And while I am not a huge diary type person, I do like to keep a short note about at least the week ending. It is also nice to be able to look back and see that even if things are stressful, progress is being made.
If you are a busy family, finding time to get your workouts in can be a challenge. I find this super challenging right now as I am in physical therapy three days a week plus I have exercises that I have to do at home. The training diary has been my answer to keeping organized and up to date. I toss it in my therapy bag and take it with me to show the physical therapist what I have done at home. I use the note area to write down any problems I experienced and to rate my pain levels. The therapist also makes notes of changes in my exercises for the coming week. It has been a helpful diary to have during my recovery.
For my day to day scheduling, I have used an organizer for years. I like the six 6 ring style because there are a ton of inserts that will fit to make it work for my home and schedule. With seven children and over a dozen grandchildren, I am always on the go and have to keep up with so many things.
