Being a new mom has enough challenges without having to stress over finding somewhere to discretely nurse or pump. Now that stress has been removed with the Freemie Wearable Pump. It is a real game changer for nursing moms. The wearable system fits under your clothing and works quietly when you need to pump.
About Freemie
Freemie is the global leader in innovative breast pump designs. Our hands-free and discreet pumping solutions work with most popular breast pumps.
Freemie Liberty Wearable Pump System
This pump system elevates the convenience for nursing moms to a new level. Not only is the Liberty Pump System lightweight and quiet, but it’s also portable. Made with a hospital-grade suction motor, that is powered by a rechargeable battery. This powerful mobile breast pump has over 100 settings and a sleep timer function with an automatic shutoff.
Nursing moms can place the Freemie Cups in their bra while dressing. Because they are worn underneath your clothing, no one else knows when you are pumping. Each of the cups can collect up to 8 ounces of milk. After a pump session, just remove the cups and transfer your milk to your chosen storage system or container.
Included in the Liberty System is the Liberty Pump, Next Gen Cup Set (cups come with two sizes to fit most 25 and 28mm), Pump Connection Kit, Power Adapter Kit, Clothing Clip, and Carrying Bag.
My Thoughts
The Freemie Liberty Wearable Pump System is a real game changer! I remember when our first child was born and there were no home electric pumps for us to use. Over the years as more babies came along, the products improved but were still bulky and inconvenient.
Fast forward to today when more moms than ever are returning to the workforce, being able to pump discretely is something that moms need. With this system, moms no longer have to go into a lactation room (if their employer offers this luxury at all), or worse to the restroom to pump.
Now moms can pump while working or whenever their body lets them know it is time. Pumping on schedule is important to maintain milk supply, especially until the baby has established their feeding schedule and demand.
Our newest little one is still on a short and frequent feeding schedule. This means that her mom has to pump at the same time schedule where ever she is at during the day. When Rebekah is not going to be home or heading off with her little one somewhere it would not be easy to nurse, she can now wear her Freemie Liberty cups in her clothing and pump on a schedule. When at home, Rebekah says it is nice to be able to pump on one side while her daughter nurses on the other. She has been able to pump and store milk for times when dad is caring for the baby or when grandma gets to babysit.
Another game changer for new moms is the Chicco PhysioForma™ Pacifier. The PhysioForma™ Pacifier was created to support oral development in babies. By positioning the tongue forward in the mouth as it pressing on the palate, it helps to maintain an open airway, development of the palate and teeth.
This Orthodontic Pacifier is a great way to comfort your little one and encourage their oral development. Our little one wants to stay lacked on long after she has finished nursing and this pacifier allows her to satisfy her sucking need while freeing her from the breast.
Game Changer for Nursing Moms
Seriously, these have to be the best gifts for a new mom to come along in decades! If you have a new or soon to be mom in your circle, the Freemie Liberty Wearable Pump System and the Chicco PhysioForma™ Pacifier should be on the top of your gift ideas.
