This year start off right with WildRoot Natural Deodorant! Say goodbye to harmful chemicals and artificial scents, and get a healthier you this year. I hate the fact that so many of our products we use on our bodies are toxic. Our skin is just taking it all in, and it is terrible for our health. I have been using natural deodorant for a while now, and it is so hard to find a product that works and that I can afford. WildRoot Natural Deodorant launches this month and it is the perfect combination of effectiveness at a great price.
About WildRoot
At WildRoot Natural Deodorant, they only use simple ingredients that you can read and understand. The deodorant is Aluminum free and Paraben free. They use pure essential oils to scent the deodorant rather then chemical fragrances. Their product is Aluminum free so it allows your body to sweat naturally. Therefore your pores will not clog and cause body odor from the build up of toxins.
Aluminum and Paraben Free
Aluminum salts cause skin cells to clog and close to prevent sweat. Sweat is a natural body function which releases toxins and such. Therefore clogging pores is not healthy, and Aluminum is not good for you.
Parabens stop the growth of fungus, bacteria, and other damaging microbes so they are in a lot of products we use daily. Unfortunately cumulative exposure to these parabens can overload our bodies and contribute to a wide range of health issues. This biggest issue is that parabens mimic estrogen by binding to estrogen receptors on cells. This disruption in hormone function is linked to increased risk of breast cancer. The European Union banned parabens in 2012, but so far the FDA has not done that here in the US. That leaves us in charge of our own health, so we have to read labels and be vigilant. Therefore WildRoot is a great choice for my daughter and me.
Mom’s Thoughts
WildRoot Deodorant comes in several scents that I really love. My favorite is Wildflower which has Ylang Ylang and Lavender essential oils in it. Citrus is also great and has Lime and Sage essential oils. Then there is Meadow, Tall Pine, Unscented, and Sensitive WildFlower. Tall Pine is a great scent for men, but I do not like it for myself. Meadow is so clean smelling due to the Lemongrass oil.
The deodorant is a stick consistency and applies easy. I will say the sensitive which has no baking soda is harder to apply so I prefer the regular formula. I love that the ingredient list is short and easy to read and understand.
For example the Tall Pine has:
- Fractionated Coconut Oil
- Arrowroot Powder
- Baking Soda
- Beeswax
- Tapioca Starch
- Mango butter
- Zinc Riolenate-Natural Odor Eliminator
- Pine Essential Oil
- Cedarwood Essential Oil.
All things in it are natural and safe for my family’s use.
Most importantly WildRoot Natural Deodorant works wonderfully! I have to admit I have used some brands in the past that left me pretty stinky. I would have to take bird baths in the middle of the day and reapply. I almost gave up and went back to mainstream chemical full deodorant just so I would smell better. It is embarrassing to be smelly. I have good hygiene after all, but my odor did not confirm that. WildRoot keeps me fresh all day, with no need for refreshers mid day. Whether I am active or lazy, I smell great.
My daughter uses her WildRoot daily and has had no complaints. Plus I know she is chemical free which is so important for a developing young lady. After all hormones already throw us through loops at 13, there is no need make it worse with parabens.
Which scent will you try first?
