There is nothing I love more than homemade Christmas ornaments! There is something special about “homemade” ornaments as they are made with love instead of plain Jane store-bought ones. With that said, the other thing I am in love with is mason jars and any kind of decor that you can make from them. There are a lot of things you can do with mason jars, but today we have a super cute Mason Jar Ring Fabric Tie Ornaments Craft you just have to do for your tree!
This fun Christmas Mason Jar Ring craft is so cute you will certainly want to do several for your tree! And, if you love homemade ornaments as much as I do, we have another fun and easy Christmas tree ornament craft. These Candy Jar Ornaments are super adorbs and so easy to make! Make them both for fun additions to your tree this year!
Supplies Needed:
1/8 yard of cotton fabric
2 – 4 Mason jar rings
Scissors or rotary cutter
Glue Gun or Floral pins
Ribbon or twine
Decorative embellishments (optional)
Each 1/8 yard of fabric will cover two rings
Instructions:
Step 1: Cut your fabric into 1” wide x 7” long. I used a variety of color combinations. If you do this, choose 1/8 yard of each color you want.
Step 2: Wrap the fabric strip from the inside and tie in a knot around the outside of the ring.
Step 3: Continue to tie strips until the ring is full.
Step 4: Cut a length of ribbon or twine to serve as your hanger and tie around the ring, at the top. If you like, glue a decorative embellishment.
