Ingredients and Supplies Needed
1 Box of Christmas Rice Krispies (You’ll use about ½ box)
11 oz bag of Caramel Bits
7 oz Sweetened Condensed Milk
3 Tablespoons Butter
4 Dozen Marshmallows
Optional: Wooden Skewer
Directions
Pour about ½ of the cereal into a bowl and set aside.
Place the caramel bits, butter, and the condensed milk into a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds, take out and stir. Continue to do this for about 3 minutes or until everything is melted and incorporated.
Place a marshmallow on the wooden skewer and dip into the caramel mixture. Tap off excess.
Place caramel marshmallow into the bowl of Rice Krispies and roll. Pull out the skewer and make sure the entire marshmallow is covered in Rice Krispy cereal.
Place on a parchment-lined cookie sheet. Let sit for about 45 minutes to harden.
These need to be eaten the same day you make them. If stored for the next day, the cereal will become soft.
