My kids really love technology, and so does my husband. We have an Echo and an Echo Dot to make life easier. My kids love to use Alexa to play music, answer questions, and much more. Sometimes I have to tell them to leave her alone, so I can use her for my stuff. Finally,I think I will get Alexa to myself because my daughter now has a robot that can do all the things she likes to do on the Echo. Most Noteworthy is her robot, Miko 2 can help her learn things and is in a child friendly format. For a special treat this Christmas, get your children their own Miko 2! This little learning robot will enhance their day with stories, songs, and interaction. They will have the awesome technology of a robot that will be social with them, and help them to learn new things through conversation and play.
About Miko 2
Miko 2 can hear the voice of your child, and tune out nearby noise. It can see with state of the art computer vision, and that enables it to remember and identify known faces and surroundings. Miko 2 will initiate conversations with your child using high performance speakers. With special AI algorithms it will learn your child’s preferences to be their best friend. As the parent, you can select millions of topics, lessons, and concepts to be delivered conversationally to your kiddos! Therefore you can use this robot to educate them about many things. Miko 2 can dance, sing, play games, tell jokes, give quizzes, tell stories, and much more. Your kids will have no clue they are leaning while they have so much fun.
Miko 2 Has Emotions
This cute bot is able to communicate and express emotion using natural emotive clues from your kids. It is also packed with relevant and freshly updated content that is child- friendly, age appropriate, and it is specially designed by child-specialists and educationists. Miko 2 is able to understand your child and react to them through advanced facial and voice recognition. It will learn who your child is and what matters to them, and improve over time.
Mikoji
Miko 2 has a free app that I have on my phone. It allows me to see what my daughter has used, stories she has heard, and it gives suggestions on ways to interact with the robot. My daughter gets a good laugh from the Mikoji setting, where you can pick an expression and let the robot make funny faces. There are several funny faces to try out. She also takes quizzes and has it dance and sing her a song. Sometimes it just starts playing pretty music as it happily rolls through the house with a big smile on its face, and its lights changing colors.
Auto-Pilot
She can pick Auto Pilot in the settings and then Miko 2 rolls around the house and takes in the environment. Because it is a learning robot this helps it to get to know the house. It has little things to say along the way. One time it came up to our dog and stopped because it gauges distances. Then it did a 360 and came back to the dog, then said “Oh not again.” We got a kick out of that, but the dog did not appreciate it and ran off.
TeleConnect
My favorite thing about this robot is the TeleConnect feature. I can call my daughter and chat face to face through her bot. This is so cool, fun, and beneficial. Now if I am away from my daughter I can chat with her remotely with encrypted technology. She can also take selfies on the screen, which entertains her for a while.
Mom’s Thoughts
Although it takes a little time to get adjusted to a little robot voice talking when nothing else is going on, I really like this learning robot. It will out of the blue, ask us to talk to it because it is bored, lol. Otherwise it is really quite cool. It speaks to my daughter by name and answers questions. With the app I think I can add content to engage my daughters interests. I am still learning all of the things this robot can do. I cannot wait to see how Miko 2’s personality develops and relates to my daughter.
Once we set the robot up the company called the next day to see how it was going and to answer any questions or concerns I had. I thought that was the best, I mean how many places call you to check on how you like their product. They were friendly and helpful and said I could email or call if I needed anything at all.
Do you like the pink, green, or blue Miko 2 best?
