5 Ways You Can Keep Your Home’s Air Clean

November 14, 2019 by Pam Maynard

The quality of the air in which you breathe has a big effect on your health. Poor outdoor air quality can cause many diseases such as lung cancer, heart diseases, respiratory diseases etc.

Indoor air quality has more effect on our health as compared to outdoor because we spend a lot of time in our homes. These unwanted substances are invisible and can be deadly.

5 Ways You Can Keep Your Home's Air Clean

Our home’s HVAC heating and cooling systems behave similarly to our lungs, in that air filters within the HVAC system also trap harmful pollutants (such as pet dander, dust, and other hazardous particulates). Each air filter has a MERV rating. You should choose the ideal rating for your home’s units to maximize its running performance.

Making adjustments to improve the indoor air quality where we live is just as vital to our health as a healthy diet and regular exercising. Read more signs of poor indoor air quality at E & M.

Opening windows is the most simple and easy way to improve the quality of the indoor air. Make it a routine to open the windows of the home for a little bit in order to reduce the accumulation of the harmful chemicals in the indoor air.

Use of indoor plants can also help in improving the quality of the indoor air. For example, according to a research it is known that spider plant is very beneficial and it helps in reducing benzene, formaldehyde and other chemicals and makes air clean and fresh.

Take your shoes off. This is very important step towards the clean environment because shoes carry a lot of dust and a lot of yucky stuff like fungi, bacteria, and pollens etc. which make the air dirty. Make sure that you keep your shoes outside so that the air remains clean.

There are a lot of companies that provide best air purifiers that do not contain any kind of harmful chemical and make environment dirt free. For example, Rabbit Air Minus  A2  is the best air purifier system available  because of its wide range of features and cleaning power.
