Do you struggle coming up with dress up or costumes for your children? Suitables Costumes take all the stress off a parent and makes it so easy for you to find the costume of your child’s dream.
About Suitables
A California-based, family-owned, founded by an adamant toddler, sort of by accident, through a homemade Halloween costume built in 2014, resulting in a discovery of a need for something new, innovative, environmentally friendly, recyclable, and above all, FUN!
Some of our favorite Suitables:
While wearing their Suitables, little ones can stretch their imaginations with role playing. These costumes are easy to assemble and do not interfere with a child’s vision or mobility.
Cinderella Pumpkin Coach
Let your little princess ride off into her own fairy tale in this Cinderella Pumpkin Coach! This carriage includes beautiful details of gold trim and jewels fit for a princess. Drawn by removable horses, this carriage will transport your little princess anywhere she wants to go.
Fire Truck
Sound the horn and blare the sirens on this life like Fire Truck Suitables. Your young firemen will be racing to put out fires all over the neighborhood.
Bulldozer
This real Bulldozer sounding Suitables costume will have your little ones “pushing dirt” around as they build their imaginary property. The vivid design makes this a real look alike that your children will love wearing.
My Thoughts
Our little ones love to role play. Their imaginations come up with the best games and ideas. Sometimes I can almost see the wheels turning in their brains. For us, having things or props for them to use that encourage them to create games is important.
Play time is so important to the development of little minds. I think watching them develop and investigate different jobs is both educational and fun.
Assembly is Easy
All of the Suitables Costumes play right into this development and fun. Assembly runs anywhere from 20 to 40+ minutes per costume. I will warn you that they don’t all have directions inside the box but don’t panic. Suitables has prepared video directions to help you get through this easily. And honestly, most of the assembling is simply matching up the tab with the corresponding slot. The few units that have sound units do require installing the batteries and using the double stick tape to secure in place. Otherwise, assembly is pretty straight forward.
Once you have the Suitables Costumes assembled, let the fun begin. Just a reminder that these are made from corrugated cardboard and will not hold up to rough housing. We ended up using duct tape to make repairs to the Bulldozer bucket when the guys got a little too creative trying to dig with it or load it up with pebbles. We also had to splint one of the horse legs when the four year old tried to ride it! Don’t laugh, they both loved using the duct tape to repair the costumes. Watching them work out the issue in their mind and then finding a solution…is what makes learning fun.
Whether you are looking for a fun costume to enrich your children’s play or for a special event, Suitables has one for your little one. Make sure to check out all their designs and order yours today.
