I had my first baby in 2013, and I’m due with my 4th baby in early 2020. My wardrobe has gone through a lot of changes in the past 7 years. My Review of the Ollie Gray Anywhere Bra
When it comes to my wardrobe, I’m a minimalist. I love clothes that are multipurpose so I don’t have to spend tons of extra money on different pieces. This especially applies to stages of life like pregnancy and nursing. The Ollie Gray Anywhere Bra lives up to its name. You can wear Ollie Gray anywhere and for anything, and still be able to nurse or pump with ease.
As I mentioned before, I’m still pregnant, so I wasn’t sure how the fit or comfort of this bra would be. Thanks to the adjustable straps and hook-and-eye closure, along with the sizing guide on the website, I was able to find my perfect fit.
When to Where the Anywhere Bra
The Anywhere Bra is athleisure-inspired, but I wear it for almost every activity, including exercise. I would note that my workouts are not currently high impact. They are mostly just walking and light plyometrics, so I’m not sure about support for activities like running and jumping. I find it to be supportive enough for the light activity I do. I also find myself reaching for the Anywhere Bra when I’m getting dressed for running errands or dropping my kids off at school.
I’m planning to nurse baby #4 just like I nursed the other 3, but I love having the option to pump, too. It’s nice to be able to leave the house for more than 2 or 3 hours at a time knowing Dad or another adult can feed the baby while I’m gone. Pumping can be a really time-consuming activity, so I’m really excited to have my first hands-free pumping bra. The best part is that I won’t have to change in and out of a hands-free bra. My regular nursing bra will pull double duty!
Comfort
As a stay-at-home mom, I live for comfort, and it’s a bonus when comfort is also cute and functional. Lately, I’ve had a preference for bralettes because I find them much more comfortable than regular bras. However, the Anywhere Bra rivals every bralette I own in the comfort department. I love that there are no underwires or tags, and the built-in padding ensures I’m not fussing with folded up or crooked padding when it comes out of the wash.
I’m also looking forward to testing the moisture-wicking fabric when I’m nursing. Any mom that’s nursed before knows the feeling of waking up soaked in milk, or leaking through nursing pads when you go a little too long in between feedings. This material is made with a germ-fighting fabric to fight smells and stains. That’s a mom win right there!
Finally, each Anywhere Bra comes with a privacy cloth that secures with magnets and is made with the same moisture-wicking fabric. It’s also SPF 50 fabric in case you’re nursing your precious baby in the sunshine. Since we live in Florida, I could see this coming in very handy!
Final Thoughts
I’m pretty picky when it comes to maternity and nursing bras because it’s a time in my life when my body is changing and sometimes uncomfortable. The Ollie Gray Anywhere Bra passes the test! I reach for this bra first and don’t feel bothered by it at the end of a long day. I’m so looking forward to wearing this as a nursing bra when the baby comes! I would recommend this to any mom, expecting or postpartum, for its comfort, functionality, and multitude of uses.
