Top 6 Hotels for Big Apple Visitors in Manhattan

September 16, 2019 by Pam Maynard

When you think of New York City, you probably have images of Times Square, Rockefeller Center, or the United Nations Building flit across your mind.  As a visitor, those are certainly locations you will want easy access to during your trip to the massive Big Apple. To help you make sure your hotel is in a central location in midtown, here is a list of the top six centrally located hotels you should consider staying at during your visit to NYC.

1. YOTEL New York

If you want to visit the heart of Manhattan, why not look at the YOTEL. The hotel is snuggled just three blocks from Times Square to the South East, three blocks from Radio City Music Hall to the East, and two blocks from the Hudson River to the West – on your way to Ellis Island. With so much to do and see, you probably won’t have much time to spend in your truly unique and comfortable cabin.

If you want a central location for your visit to the Manhattan, you cannot go wrong by spending a couple of nights at the classic WESTGATE NEW YORK GRAND CENTRAL. Close to the East River and Grand Central Terminal, you can visit the Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedom Park on Roosevelt Island and still have time to visit the United Nations Building on your way back to the hotel. You can expect a luxury room and a breath-taking view as part of your experience when you choose a room in the city that never sleeps. Check out the hotel website for more information.

3. Grand Hyatt New York

Your quintessential New York experience can begin with a visit to the heart of midtown when you stay in the Grand Hyatt New York. Built near the famous must-see Grand Central Terminal, you can quickly get anywhere you want to go. You won’t be disappointed if you choose to stay in either one of the 1,300 rooms or 44 suites during your visit to the Big Apple. The Grand Hyatt is also within easy walking distance of the famous 5th Avenue where the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and St. Patrick’s Cathedral are located.
