My Thoughts
Having large dogs means needing larger feeding bowls of course but they also tend to be a little aggressive eaters. In their excitement in eating, the bowls tend to be tipped over or pushed around the kitchen. Even using oddly shaped, made for dog bowls hasn’t solved this problem in our house.
But, not any more. Now my dogs are now able to enjoy their meals without having the chase the bowl around. And because these bowls are set on top of a base, they are at a better height for them. The mess around their bowl is a lot less because they are not having to bend way over to eat. Now they can chew directly over the dish. I used to have to pick up food from around their bowls after every feeding.
I really like how easy these dog bowls are to use. The base unit can be filled with water or sand, and it really does hold the bowl in place. The top bowl snaps securely on top of the base and can be tossed in the dishwasher to clean.
