This year, while shopping for specific style and design in pants for two of our little ones, we discovered these from French Toast:
Straight Fit Chino Pants
These are the perfect pants for not only school but for daily wear. They are dresser than jeans but not what would be considered a dress slack. Made in a cotton blended twill with the stretch comfort built in. They have an adjustable waist that offers some room to grow during the school year. This style of pant is available in youth, husky, and adult sizes and are offered in black, khaki, gray, and navy colors.
Flat Front Adjustable Waist Shorts
These flat front panel shorts are the best shorts we have found for not only our little ones, but even the adults in the house love them. They also have the adjustable waist band which is pretty generous for growing boys. Sizes are offered from a child size 4 to an adult waist 48! And the color selection includes black, green, gray, khaki, and navy.
Short Sleeve Ruffle Top
This youth shirt is too cute. It has a cold shoulder design with a beautiful ruffle on the front. Made with a poly blend jersey that is so soft to touch. Sizes include a child 4 to an extra large (14/16). Colors offered are hot pink and white.
My Thoughts
Finding well made clothes for my crew that don’t break the bank used to be a challenge. And don’t get me started on the cost of school uniforms when you have two or more children to dress. So when I was introduced to the clothing line from French Toast, I have to admit I was quite impressed.
Some of our guys attend a school that requires a certain style, design, and color uniform pants. You are free to locate on your own if you can or purchase through the school directly (for an unbelievable price tag). Having searched high and low for the “acceptable” pants, I jumped for joy when I saw these from French Toast.
The quality is top notch. And the fit not only runs true to size, the material has a stretch to it which makes them comfortable to wear. On top of both of those amazing points, the waist band has at least two inches of adjustment built in. This means that even as our little guys continue to grow, we don’t have to purchase new pants during the school year.
Back to School Opinion
As you can see when asked about their back to school opinion, neither were hot to give up their summer break or sports that they spend so much of their time and energy playing. Oh well, just a few more weeks of summer break and it will be back to school for these two guys. I think their new uniform pants and shorts look sharp even if their opinion of starting school is clearly written on their faces!
