If you are a plant and Unicorn lover and a fan of recycling you are going to love this fun unique craft! Using a recycled bottle you can make a fun and unique Unicorn Planter! Oh, my goodness! How cute can it be? Depending on the size of the bottle, it will be the perfect home for cute succulent plants, etc.
Like I said, if you are a lover of these magical creatures, you are sure to enjoy this fun Felt Unicorn Pen Topper craft or even this fun Unicorn Candle Holder!
List of Supplies
Plastic bottle
Pencil
Scissors
Sharpie
Glitter paper
Acrylic paint
Paint brush
Instructions
Wash, clean and dry inside of the plastic bottle. Use a temporary marker pen to trace the unicorn layout on the bottle. Keeping the bottom side of the bottle intact and leaving the determined height of the unicorn planter (from the bottom), trace the ears and horn layout on the top side.
Cut out the bottom along the traced patterns.
Use white acrylic paint to color the cutout bottle unicorn. Allow the paint to dry entirely.
Apply a second coat of white paint. Allow the paint to dry again.
Trace and cut out the horn pattern from the glitter paper. You can use black acrylic paint to draw the yes on the bottle or you can also draw the eyes on a paper and cut them out.
Attach the horn on the horn layout of the bottle. If you’re using paper eye cutouts, glue them below the horn, keeping at least 2 cm gap between the eyes and the horn.
Cut out some flower patterns from colored craft papers.
Attach the flower cutouts along the top open side of the unicorn, right below the horn and ears.
Done?
Now add soil mix and plant to it!
You have a fun cute planter!
