A Guide To Combating Unexpected Hair Loss

June 20, 2019 by Pam Maynard

Hair loss is becoming more and more common over recent months with more and more people opting for cosmetic surgeries in order to fix a receding hairline or other forms of hair loss. With thousands of people every year looking for the best place for a hair transplant in Turkey, it is no surprise that this is a growing industry. In this article, we are giving you a guide to combating unexpected hair loss over time.

A Guide To Combating Unexpected Hair Loss

Recognize Your Style Of Hair Loss

When experiencing hair loss, it is important not to panic. Not only can this worsen the effects of hair loss, but it can also have an overall effect on your health. By using the Norwood scale of hair loss, you can then determine the style of hair loss that you are experiencing and then work out a way to combat it. The Norwood scale is available online to view and is often used by medical professionals to determine the style of hair loss your experiencing.

Have A Blood Test

Once you have looked at the style of hair loss your experiencing and have visited your GP for professional diagnosis, it may then be beneficial to get a blood test. This is because your hair can begin to fall out if you are deficient in vitamins such as B12 and Iron.  By having a blood test, you can then begin to rule out possible reasons and implement a strategy. With B12 becoming highly common when looking at deficiencies, there are more and more people needing tablets or injections in order to combat the signs of hair loss and fatigue that come along with it.

Change Your Diet

If you are deficient in vitamins and minerals, then a change in diet may be needed to help keep your hair and body healthy. This is great for those that are only slightly deficient as the body can resolve these low levels of vitamins, however this can only slightly help those with a severe deficiency. By incorporating whole grains, fruit and veg as well as other food groups into your diet, you will get all the nutrients that you need to keep your hair healthy. Although this can take some time, it is important to be patient as these will pay off in the long term.

Try Supplements

If you are undergoing treatment for a lack of vitamins, then using supplements could be the perfect way of topping up what you don’t have. By taking hair supplements such as sugar bear hair and other supplements, you can have the right number of vitamins and minerals specifically designed to help strengthen the hair and maintain the overall look. Though these do not work for everyone, they can help to increase the flow of biotin and other vital vitamins to the scalp and increasing the speed at which your hair will grow.

Regardless of where you start when experiencing hair loss, it is important to note that there is no one way to resolve it. Hair loss can be caused by a number of different variables some can be resolved and some may take a little more time.
