Print and cut out the template patterns. Select colored craft papers for the shirt card and trace the patterns on them. The big rectangular shape is the card layout (shirt). The patterns include a tie, strips for the tie stripes, a pocket and 2 buttons (small circles).
Take the tie pattern and add the thin strips on the tie to add striped patterns on it. After adding the strips on the tie, cut extra parts of the strips along the outer border of the tie, to level them with the tie border.
Notice the small rectangular part on the card pattern, cut that part out and cut slits along the red lines.
Fold the rectangular paper into half to prepare the card.
Attach the tie (prepared in step 2) the front side of the card. Level the top end of the tie with the line along the slits.
Fold the thin parts of the slits and bring their top corner on the middle of the slit line. Apply glue to fix their position. The paper shirt card is ready.
Take the 2 small round cutouts and attach them on the collar of the paper shirt.
Finally, attach the pocket cutout on either side of the shirt.
Allow the glue to dry and then write down your message inside the card.
That’s it! Your card is ready for Dad!
