The design for the original Collective Hearts necklace was dreamt up by Lisa Rueff – believing there’s a need for more visible signs of love in the world. She brought her concept to Amy Nordstrom, a world-class Sausalito jewelry designer, and together they created the very first handcrafted piece. Lisa placed it on her neck, went about her day, and the response was overwhelming. More than a conversation starter, the necklace created opportunity for warm compliments, true connection, and heart-centered conversation. The Collective Hearts necklace started a movement and seemingly overnight a heart tribe of love warriors was born. All of our jewelry is lovingly handcrafted in Northern California using high quality 14k gold fill and sterling silver.

Silver Lining Petite Heart Necklace
This small heart is a handcrafted hammered silver heart on a 16-18 inch adjustable chain. The heart is a little under 2 inches and is part of the Silver Lining Series. Also included with this necklace is a 100% recycled paper heart, embedded with wildflower seeds. As you wear the necklace and spread love in the world around you, the seeded paper heart can do the same thing. Whether you give it away or plant it in your garden, it will be a reminder of how beautiful the world is around us.
My Thoughts
I love the idea behind this series of jewelry, because the world certainly needs more visible signs of love in it. This necklace looks so delicate, however the message behind it could not be more powerful. For most of us, our Moms were the power behind showing us how to thrive in life. Like our Moms, they may have been quiet or small in stature but were powerhouses when it came to their children.
When I wear this heart, I am reminded how important it is to show love to those around us by being kind and thoughtful. The Silver Lining series comes in Gold or Silver. It is also available in a larger size heart as well as matching earrings.
Collective Hearts offers a large variety of “heart” jewelry. I love that their mission is to spread more love and they walk the talk through the support of a school and children’s home in Haiti named the Jacmel Children’s Center.
